A quiet day

So we started the day as we normally do and that’s with the walk on the beach. But today we decided to first walk up to the lighthouse.

What a view!

Unfortunately its only open at certain times so this will have to wait till next time.

Its the Covesea Lighthouse & Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Heritage site. Just looking at the site its gorgeous inside. AND you can book to stay! Don’t believe me go and have a look!

Lossiemouth – on our doorstep

We decided we would venture into Lossiemouth itself and stopped off at the Bridge45 & The Salt Cellar for a cuppa and cake. The cakes were delish!

As we are both fans of local breweries we went into get some from the local Windswept Brewery.

Finally, on the way back to the Van, we stopped off to have a look at the amenities in Silversands. The pool is small but very inviting, the attendant (Andrew) was very friendly and will definitely go and say hello next time. We decided to stay and sample the food, both the food and the restaurant are superb, just watch you don’t loose your beer 😀.

This afternoon we are chilling and thinking about our next visit.

Thanks for reading, until next time.
